As the vacation rental market has changed over the past years, "staycations" have become ever popular. The days of staying in hotels while traveling with friends and family are all but obsolete. My wife and I save diligently each year to vacation somewhere amazing to create lasting family memories. (Towards the end, all we are left with are the memories we have created with our loved ones.) We have 6 children and love to travel with friends and/or extended family. Two of life's greatest joys are gathering with loved ones, and vacations! Over the past few years, we have had groups of 12 to 28 get together and rent some amazing "STR Wedding" vacation properties. Two of which actually made the list for our state, and were part inspiration for this site. These properties ranged from $1000–$3000+ per night, which seemed extremely high the first time we booked. Then we realized that when you chip in on a property that has everything on site needed to have an unforgettable vacation, you have no need to go out and spend additional hard-earned money. We had been filtering out the very best properties in the country before we even began our search, because the price seemed high. At the end of these cherished trips, we were astonished to find they were some of the most affordable and definitely best trips we've ever taken. Nowadays, we chip in with loved ones on a STR Wedding property, buy food and drinks, and enjoy our time together on site. My wife and I have taken our kids to mansions and islands!! This was not the life we had as kids, and it feels great to provide these childhood memories for them.

The worst part of planning a trip with a group is scrolling for days or weeks through hundreds of listings, pics, and reviews, trying to find that STR Wedding spot that has it all. So we thought we would create a site that has done just that in advance. We have searched tens of thousands of properties, read reviews, spotlighted amenities and put together the lists of current STR Wedding vacation rentals available, in a format which highlights all they have to offer. Some nearby destinations off our coast, I honestly had never heard of much less considered for vacation until researching for this site. Some of these places and properties were completely off our radar for vacation and now are on our bucket list!
